Setting Up Your Kings Big Daddy Deluxe Swag

If you have just bought yourself a Kings Big Daddy Deluxe Swag, then you probably can’t wait to get it set up. By following these simple steps, you will have your swag set up in no time.

I’ll assume you have pulled everything out of the box and have it layed out in front of you, ready to go.

Steps on setting up your Kings Big Daddy Deluxe Swag

Step 1

Get the canvas swag and spread it out on the ground. The black waterproof material is designed to be your ground layer so put that on the ground with the green canvas material sitting on top.

Pull each of the four corners out tight and hammer a tent peg through each hole.

Step 2

Open the small narrow bag that includes the swag poles. You should have two narrow poles that have been collapsed and folded up, and one thicker pole which extends and also folds at a certain point.

Grab the two narrow poles and unfold them, letting the joints naturally connect, creating a broad semi-circle arc.

Grab one of these narrow semicircle poles and attached it to a narrow end of the swag. Each corner of the swag has a small steel spike that is inserted into the end of the narrow pole, giving the semi-circle some tension and holding it in place.

Step 3

Hook the small black plastic clips that are spread over the narrow arc of the swag onto the pole you have just attached.

Complete steps 2 and 3 on the other end of the swag.

Step 4

Once you have your two ends in place, you are ready to insert the long thick pole between the two ends. Unfold this pole and loosen the latch, so it is free to expand.

Place one end of the pole into the eyelet at the top of the semicircle, then lift up the other end, and place the other end of the thick pole into that eyelet.

Then you can extend the pole as far as you can until the swag achieves suitable tension and the two ends are standing upright.

This completes the basic setup of the core elements of the swag.

Step 5

Add your mattress, camping pillows, and bedding.

Step 6

There will be a guy rope on each end of the swag that you need to pull out and peg in to add the relevant tension to the bed ends and minimize sag in the canvas sides.
