Beach Tents are a great way to enjoy the good things about the beach, whilst minimising some of the downsides of beach at the beach (wind, sand and sunburn). This article covers some of the best places you can look for a beach tent so you are all set for your next day on the beach.

BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) have a variety of beach tent options, in their ‘Wanderer’ brand ranging from a simple beach umbrella up to a bigger substantial shelter with a floor and wind/sun cover from three sides.

BCF has a national network of stores you can visit in person, or a seamless online shopping experience if you prefer to shop that way.

Snowys sell a broad range of shelters you could use at the beach, from our favourite (the Coleman Deluxe Event Shade), down to the simple OZtrail multi-shade and many other options in between.

Snowys have retail stores in SA and QLD, but offer free postage on anything over $49, so online is a very efficient option as well.

Outback Equipment

Outback Equipment are a newer player to the scene and offer a range of beach tent options from the OZtrail brand.
Outback Equipment have a warehouse in Cooper Plains, QLD, that you can organise to pick items up from, but are largely an online operation.

Tentworld are another national brand with retail outlets in most states and wide variety of beach tents from multiple brands. They stock our favourite (the Coleman) as well as many cheaper alternatives, and have great performance by post, if you can get to a shop.

If you like shopping with ecommerce giants then Kogan also have a range of beach tents. From brands like Komodo, Caribee, Explore Planet earth and more – if you are going to shop there any way, you may as well add your beach tent while there. Heaps of options from $50 and up.
