Description

The Yeti 200X is the entry-level Yeti power station product. It comes with a variety of 12v, USB and 240v AC outputs, and weighing just over 2kgs, you can transport this with ease.

The battery storage is limited so you can’t expect to charge too many things for too long unless you have a way to recharge it on your trip. The AC output is rated at 120W which is good for a unit of this size, but will limit you to small household appliances, typically things you can charge with USB, and power tool battery chargers etc.

There is a master switch for each bank of outputs to conserve energy, and in the in-built Master Power Point (MPPT) controller ensures you don’t damage the battery with too much voltage.

The Yeti can be charged in four different ways. AC Input, Car Charger, USB-C and Solar Panel. The AC charger is included with the unit, but other charging cords will need to be purchased separately. From flat, the unit can be fully charged within four hours.

Yeti camping power stations also include a smartphone app you can use to connect with and control the power station.

Does the Yeti include an inverter?

Yes. The Goal Zero Yeti has a pure sine wave inverter built in, with single 240v AC output available. It can discharge 120w at any one time, with the potential to discharge up to 200w for very short bursts.

How long does it take to charge?

It takes about four hours to charge the Yeti 200X using the AC wall charge, and slightly longer using the other methods.
